Fabio Rossi and the Millonario team have gently refined the blend by using older rums. The result is a richer, sweeter taste with subtle notes of caramel.
Solera 15 Reserva Especial was the first release from the Ron Millonario brand. It was born from Fabio Rossi's passion, which took shape in 2004 in the town of Chiclayo in northern Peru.
Molasses from renowned northern Peruvian sugar cane, slow fermentation, a unique distillation column, and finally the dynamic ageing process known as solera give it everything a premium spirit can offer.
It shines best on its own, but also pairs well with coffee, desserts or bolder dishes, and of course, with a cigar.
Aroma: intense and captivating, with notes of raisins, dried figs, plums and dates.
Taste: notes of vanilla, caramel, candied orange and dates, followed by a hint of milk chocolate and a balsamic touch of fresh mint.
Finish: warm, velvety, honeyed, with closing notes of chilli pepper and aromatic herbs.
